This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles contained within it. The APPs govern how Australian Privacy Principle entities collect, hold, use and disclose personal information, and give individuals rights to access and correct their information. Where it is reasonable and practicable, we collect personal information directly from you. If we receive information we did not solicit and it is not required for our functions, we will destroy or de-identify it as soon as practicable.

8. Access to and correction of your personal information

We take every privacy complaint seriously, will acknowledge your complaint promptly and will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) via its website at www.oaic.gov.au.
10. Cookies and website analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its performance. Cookies are small files stored on your device. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete them through your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from accessing the core pages of this website. Analytics data collected through cookies is used in aggregate form and is not used to identify individual visitors.
11. Overseas disclosure
Where we use cloud-based service providers whose servers are located outside Australia, your personal information may be stored or processed overseas. Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps in accordance with APP 8 to ensure the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles, or we obtain your consent where that is the appropriate basis for disclosure.

Where it is lawful and practicable, you may deal with us anonymously or using a pseudonym, for example when making a general enquiry about our services. However, we will usually need your identifying details to provide a quote, deliver services or comply with our legal obligations.
13. Direct marketing and opt-out
If you receive a marketing communication from us and no longer wish to, you may ask us at any time to stop. Simply reply to the message or email ceo@nirbhausolutions.site with the subject line "Unsubscribe" and we will remove you from our marketing lists promptly and at no cost.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. The current version will always be published on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. This policy was last reviewed in 2025.
